With its origins based in Jamaica during the 1960's, Reggae is a music style where guitars and horns play on the upbeats, while creative bass lines present groovy melodies. From bobbing the body to swinging the hips, reggae has been internationally recognized as a cheerful and soulful music. A few of the famous artists are Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, Steel Pulse, and Maxi Priest.
